Seeing as we go by the name ‘best betting sites’, there’s no way we could get away without offering you a list of our top ten betting sites. Included in this list are online bookmakers, sportsbooks and the odd betting exchange.

Bet365 are a very close number two choice for online sports betting in the UK. Not only do they offer excellent odds, but they also have a seemingly never-ending supply of promotions and bonuses. Their sign up bonus is one of the highest in the industry and the have some fantastic ongoing offers – including money back if a football game ends 0-0 and a free bet if your horse racing bet wins at odds of 4/1 or greater.

3. Betfred - £25 Matched Bet

Betfred consistently offer some of the best promotions of any bookie – and Fred truly does live up to his name as the bonus king. For new customers they offer a £25 matched bet based on your first real money deposit and wager. Betfred also run a number of ongoing specials – including double/triple odds on winning first goal scorer bets when the player scores again (Double Delight/Hat Trick Heaven) and double odds on winning correct score markets when a goal was scored in added time.

Sky Bet were the first betting site to offer a no deposit free bet – this definitely took some balls and this deserves recognition. Next up are BetVictor – formally known as ‘Victor Chandler’ or ‘VC’. BetVictor are particularly good for their competitive odds and they have officially had ‘best odds most often’ and ‘best average odds’ for the last two premiership seasons.

ComeOn! are relatively new to the online betting scene, but they’re quickly growing a substantial customer base. As well as a decent welcome bonus, ComeOn! is also one of the few online betting sites to operate a loyalty program – and they’re not stingy on the rewards, either.

7. Totesport - Deposit £5, Get A £10 Free Bet

For decades, Totesport were the official bookmaker of the British Government. The Tote was recently privatised as part of a governmental fund raising drive and was sold to fellow high street bookie, Betfred.
Totesport have always been big supports of British horse racing, and contribute both time and money to the British horse racing association – something that Betfred pledged to continue doing.

9. Betfair - £50 Free Bet

Betfair wrote their way into the history books when they opened the very first betting exchange. The fundamental principle of an exchange is relatively simple – you bet against other punters rather than the bookie, which usually results in better odds.
Whilst there have been a few others join the betting exchange market in recent years, Betfair still has the dominant market share. This large customer base provides Betfair with much greater liquidity in their betting markets, making it the choice place for peer-to-peer betting.

10. Betdaq - £30 No Lose Bet

Betdaq are a plucky young betting exchange who have their eyes set on Betfairs crown. Despite their age and smaller size, many of the more popular markets can give Betfairs a run for their money.
One of the reasons why Betdaq is growing so quickly is thanks to its lower commission rate – 3% versus Betfair 5%. Obviously if you’re betting on a market where Betdaq has the volume and odds to accomodate your bet, then using Betdaq instead of Betfair will save you a small amount of commission. It’s not a lot – but it does add up.
